NY Bagel Cafe & Deli Rancho Cucamonga CA

Surprisingly, the seed for this review began with the news: New York is running out of cream cheese for their bagels. Not being a bagel eater, I didn't think to much of it and skimmed the article. But as I was skimming the article, I came upon the word "Lox". Curious, I looked up the strange new word and discovered that Lox were lightly brined (sometimes smoked) pieces of salmon served on a bagel with onion, cream cheese, and capers. Now intrigued (and always on the look out for new things), I had to try it. I started my search for bagel shops on Google of course and found several locations with one being literally minutes away, NY Bagel Cafe and Deli. Located in a small shopping center, a bit hidden, the cafe was deceptively bigger than it looked. The interior was wide and open with a New York themed decor. The staff, who were busy behind the counter, were friendly and had my to-go order ready in no time. The bagel itself was wonderful. I've had bagels with cream cheese before and knew what I was expecting, but the Lox added a subtle savory punch. The Lox had a fresh taste and silky texture further reinforced by the cream cheese. Together, both contrasted nicely with the robust and crunchy bagel. Really, a wonderful combination. Check this place out.

I’ve been on the hunt for a bagel sandwich, and I’m so pleased to have found this shop. We had Turkey melts, lays, and the little one had a pineapple smoothie. DELISH. We will be back!

Excellent customer service. Our bagels were fresh we enjoyed every bite. Coffee was fresh. The place was clean and bright. I will definitely go back there again.

I order Uber Eats from this place consistently. The young man who works here always calls me to let me know if something is out or if anything needs updating with my order. Love this place and the service is so good. Amazing açaí bowls

Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. They’re freshly made to order. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their bagels are delicious. I had the egg, bacon and cheese, and the cheese was gooey and warm. My daughter had the ham, egg and cheese. We are definitely going back to try the lox as I hear that is really good there.

I am not a big fan of american but I had the best american food here in NY Bagels. I got phillicheesesteak on everything bagel once and bbq roasted beef on panini another time. Both time they were so delicious, juicy and fulfiling. I felt happy and refreshed after the meal. Besides the taste, the bagels and food there in general are super healthy and hygenic. The owners, takes special care in ensuring best quality is ensured in the kitchen. The owners were also always there to ensure I was served well and was taken care of. Atmosphere there just takes me back to new york and reminded of the street food bagel culture. It was amazing and memorable. I loved it. Definitely going back again! 5/5

What a surprisingly good find! I ordered the everything bagel sandwich with 2 eggs, turkey sausage, red onion, cream cheese and cheese. It was delicious. Bagels are nice and thick with great texture and taste. We will definetly be back!

Where to start?! This place is absolutely amazing. Great food! From there croissant breakfast sandwiches to their breakfast burritos, bagels and cream cheese, and the deli sandwiches. Everything is delicious. I'm in love with thier Carmel frappes. Their food is always freshly prepared and hot on a plate. You will not make it far through the door before being greeted by a super friendly staff. The owners almost always come out and ask if everything is ok and if there is anything they can do for me. I've never met such a friendly hard working staff. The store is very well maintained with tables and counters and machines constantly being cleaned. The owners have done an amazing job with N.Y. Bagel and continue to renovate thier menu. If you want great food, great service, for a great price N.Y. Bagel is your place. This is not your average bagel place, this is an authentic New York bagel shop that has been run properly. I highly reccomend to my family, friends, and anybody who's asks!
